From June to October, the Brome Lake region is a paradise for foodies! Say goodbye to your regular grocery store and come fill your shopping basket with fresh, local products: duck, rabbit, Angus beef, lamb, eggs, vitamin-packed berries, sun-ripened apples and pears, organic veggies, wild mushrooms, maple treats and lavender honey. And why not throw in a nice bottle of rosé or a beer brewed right here in Knowlton? What a delight to see and smell our beautiful, seasonal fruits and vegetables, select a delicious cut of local meat or buy a fine wine directly from the vineyard!

Our gourmet tour is very easy to follow and full of great addresses. Leave the city early on Saturday morning and head to the farmers’ market in Knowlton to stock up on local produce. Then explore the back roads around the lake, stopping wherever the local wares entice you. From August to late October, you can also pick your own apples, pears, blueberries, elderberries and sea buckthorn berries. Follow the map and let your inspiration be your guide!
