Perched on the heights of Iron Hill on the western shore of Brome Lake, the Hallacres family farm calls to mind the bucolic pastures of Scotland. Visitors are greeted by the sight of white sheep grazing peacefully in the fields and soon succumb to the site’s natural beauty.

The farm’s store is the place to pick up fresh (Fridays and Saturdays) and frozen meat, ranging from shanks, roasts and chops to rack of lamb and ground and cubed lamb. And don’t forget to stock up on the Hallacres’ excellent maple syrup. A family-made product for six generations, their syrup is available year-round.
