Marché d’été Solstice

LEPORELLO presents Solstice, its very first summer market: a bright celebration of local craftsmanship and the pleasures of the season. On Saturday, June 20, the organization invites the public to discover this new event in its new outdoor courtyard, located just across from the entrance of the Lac-Brome public market. Designed as a warm and welcoming gathering, Solstice draws inspiration from the spirit of the region’s farmers’ markets, where local products, artisanal creation, and human connection come together.

As an atelier, artist residency, and creative space rooted in the region, LEPORELLO continues its mission of showcasing artistic and artisanal practices by offering an event at the intersection of disciplines. For this first summer edition, a carefully curated selection of around ten participants will bring together flower growers, textile artisans, illustrators, ceramists, and local food producers. A pop-up food offering will complete the experience, creating a festive, lively atmosphere that we hope will be inspiring.

Solstice follows in the footsteps of Orée Market, whose first winter edition was a great success, bringing together a curious and engaged community around contemporary creation. This summer edition, however, offers a renewed approach, placing greater emphasis on local producers and the generous rhythm of the warmer season.

Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Solstice promises a day of discovery, connection, and simple pleasures in the heart of Knowlton. It is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the summer solstice while supporting local talent and producers.
