For all outdoor enthusiasts, six ice rinks and a whole network of trails will welcome you until the spring thaw. Come take a breath of fresh air at Douglass Beach and put on skates – which you can rent on site – before venturing out onto the beautiful Brome Lake! Do you prefer cross-country skiing or snowshoeing? Our trails*, accessible throughout the city by multiple access points, will allow you to enjoy our nature. Your children will not be outdone with our kick sleds: they will never tire of this high energy and fun activity.
*Note that the cross-country ski trails are traced by users and not by the Town.

Are you planning a relaxing getaway out of the city to recharge your batteries? Why not come and get pampered in one of spas and wellness centres ? Lithotherapy, massages, beauty treatments, you will be spoiled by the choices in one of our establishments. Some of them also offer accommodations, which saves you from having to get back on the road after your moment of relaxation.

The Trestle Cove footbridges, a project that was in the works for many years, are now connecting the Foster and Knowlton sectors, and this, in a spectacular way! When walking or snowshoeing on our more than 13 km of trails, take a detour to come and admire the lake and the surrounding area from an incomparable perspective. Parking spaces are available at the following four points: Victoria Street, in front of the Knowlton Academy, by Douglass Beach, Argylle Street or Ovide-Dagenais Park.

Outdoors and relaxation will surely make you hungry! Take advantage of your stay in Lac-Brome discover the pizzas and beer of the brand new microbrewery La Knowlton Co. Recently opened, it will charm you with its modern and refined decor, and its enticing menu. A fine selection of beers awaits you, ranging from American pale ale to English porter, with some ‘niche’ beers, such as the elderberry saison rosée, produced in collaboration with Vitalité Sureau. For arabica lovers, the famous Star Café will welcome you warmly, especially if you have children with you. Finally, for the biggest appetites, a detour to Chez moi, chez toi, a hidden gem of an Indian restaurant in Lac-Brome, will delight your palate with its exotic aromas
