After studying at the École des Beaux-arts de Montréal and earning a bachelor’s degree in art from Université du Québec à Montréal, Jany Fournier taught art for over 25 years. Now residing in the village of Knowlton in the heart of the Eastern Townships, she creates works using acrylics and oils on canvas, and watercolour and oil pastel on paper, inspired by the surrounding rural landscapes. In her studio-gallery, visitors can admire her passionate, impressionist perspectives on nature in her landscapes and still lifes.
