For over 25 years, Stéphane Bernier has been growing several species of conifers ready for you to transplant on your own property, including Colorado spruce, Meyer’s spruce, white spruce, Norway spruce, red pine and hedge cedars, not to mention the ever-popular balsam fir. You can come by and pick out your favourite conifer as soon as planting weather arrives.

In the wintertime, Plantation Bernier is the ideal spot to choose and harvest your own Christmas tree. There’s nothing like it for getting into the Christmas spirit! Visitors are given a small hand saw and a sled, and they’re good to go! The staff will even wrap your tree up in a net for you, to make it easy to bring home.

Cultivated firs purify the air throughout their 10- to 15-year growth stage. And by purchasing a freshly cut Christmas tree, you help continue that cycle, because Stéphane and his team are sure to replace the trees cut every winter in the following spring with new firs from their nursery.
