For many years, Jocelyne Tremblay has been expressing her fascination with the human body in her sculpture. Starting out as a painter, she explored its lines, colours and surfaces. As a sculptor, she now works in clay, enhancing her forms with textures and crevices to convey the emotions and memories rooted in the body.
After working as a fashion designer, she dedicated herself to painting for about 10 years. She was represented by several galleries, including Galerie Michel-Ange. Then, after discovering sculpture in 2010, she studied with Jean-Louis Emond and later went to Paris to learn from the French sculptors she most admired. Jocelyne Tremblay is a professional member of the Québec Sculpture Council.
