For Dominique Perron, an artist and designer with a background in fashion, painting is primarily a passion, a way of expressing herself and of dreaming—but it’s also a challenge! In her artistic process, midway between figurative and abstract art, she explores perspective, the play of light and shadow, colours and faces, often using photos as a starting point. With a preference for unusual points of view, she likes to deform reality, working with movement and texture to create blurry lines and encourage viewers to lose their sense of reality.

Dominique Perron studied art in San Miguel de Allende, in Mexico, the Art Institute of Chicago, in the United States, the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne, in Paris, and Concordia University, in Montréal.
