Jeweller Caroline Lanctôt-Benoît, a graduate of the École de Joaillerie de Montréal, has been selling her creations since 1998. She is inspired by contrast and duality and loves mixing shapes, textures, colours and materials like gold, silver, pearls and glass beads. Contrasting styles and a classical/modern dualism underlie her work. Her pieces are often reversible, transformable and adjustable, giving them a playful aspect and accentuating the versatility that is so important to the artist.
