Nestled among lush hills and framed by magnificent views, Brome Lake is an oasis in any season. Less than an hour away from Montreal, our winding country roads will lead you all around the Lake, through dappled forests and past picturesque farming villages. Roll down the windows, grab your bike or paddle out across the water and take in some of the Eastern Townships’ most spectacular scenery.
Brome Lake is a paradise for stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). If you have your own board, you can access the lake from two locations: Douglass Beach or Tiffany Park. If you need to rent a board, the Marina is the best place!
$10 per car or $6 after 3 pm
Douglass Beach, near the village of Knowlton, is a sandy beach with clear waters, perfect for the whole family. Certified lifeguards are on duty in summer. You will find changing rooms, washrooms, outdoor showers, a canteen, volleyball net and several picnic areas on-site. You can also rent kayaks right on the beach.
Tiffany Park is a gorgeous place to stop for a picnic or well-deserved break. This narrow, pebble beach offers spectacular views but there is no swimming. This location can be used as a small boat ramp.
