Walking Paths in Town of Brome Lake

KNOWLTON – FOSTER

Town of Brome Lake has a network of beautiful woodland paths with lake views which stretch all the way from the centre of Knowlton to Foster. Just follow the signs!.

Access points
Join the paths at any of the following points:

  • at  the municipal carpark on Lakeside Rd
  • at the Farmers Market on Maple St
  • at the Douglass Beach car park (paid parking from June to August)

Distances
Village centre to Farmers Market : 300 m
Village centre to Douglass Beach : 2.2 km
Douglass Beach to Trestle Cove : 1.1 km

CALL’S MILLS (SOLES RD, WEST BROME)

Access
Call’s Mills Park is at the corner of Soles and Stagecoach Roads, a few minutes from the centre of West Brome.

Loop Trail 1 km

Path Rules
In summer, you are welcome to walk or cycle on the paths and in winter, you can ski or snowshoe. Dogs on a leash are welcome, but please remember to pick up after your dog!

No motorized vehicles or horses are allowed on the paths. In order to protect local wildlife, we ask you to please stay on the path and to take any garbage away with you.  Thank you.
